Originating in Southern France and dating back to the late 1800s to early 1900s, this barber’s mirror was used either on the road or in a shop. The mirror’s exceptional craftsmanship is evident in the details, from the signature mercury glass and hand-wrought hinges that are still fully functional, allowing it to fold just as easily as it did in a traditional barber’s shop. The original backing, clasps, and chain are still intact.
While this mirror was originally meant to sit atop an island or countertop above a sink, it can be used in any indoor space.
